Hotel Parque La Paz has received funding from the Canary Islands Government's Department of Ecological Transition and Energy under the programme promoting renewable electricity generation, self-consumption and decarbonisation across the Canary Islands, financed through Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Component 7, Investment 2).
This project falls within the programme supporting renewable electricity generation, self-consumption and the decarbonisation of the Canary Islands (Programmes 2 and 3).
As part of this initiative, the hotel has installed a photovoltaic solar energy system comprising 510 solar panels, each with a capacity of 460 W, providing a total installed power of 234.60 kWp.
The project received a grant of €138,938.16 and involved a total investment of € 212,356.78.
The main objective of this funding programme is to support the decarbonisation of the Canary Islands' electricity system, promoting a more sustainable energy model, improving energy efficiency and contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions throughout the archipelago.
Through this investment, Hotel Parque La Paz reinforces its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, helping to create a greener future for both residents and visitors to the Canary Islands.
