Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital and administrative center of Tenerife. Located on the northeast coast, it´s a bustling seaport city (one of the busiest in Spain and one of the deepest in the world). This huge port can have several large cargo ships, cruise ships and motor boats to travel between the islands and ferries.
Located in a large natural bay, with a beautiful mountain scenery in the background (Anaga mountains) over 1000 meters. Though being a Capital they have a very beautiful beach right in the middle of the city named Playa de Las Teresitas.
The shops are excellent and most visitors begin their shopping at the Plaza España and walk towards Plaza de Candelaria, which offers excellent international brands at good prices.

The beautiful region of the Orotava Valley is situated close to Santa Cruz and is known for its lush and green area full of tropical fruits.
This ancient town is beautiful and has a distinctive character. Most of Orotava is surrounded by the fishing port and its made up of cobbled streets full of bars and cafe´s in traditional colonial style. This picturesque port is a beautiful place that deserves a visit. Here you find a selection of luxury boutiques, charming squares and tourist attractions.
In Puerto de la Cruz you have Loro Parque which is a large and famous theme park with animals and amazing shows with dolphins, orcas, sea lions and parrots. Lagos Martianes, designed by the architect César Manrique, situated in the middle of Puerto de la Cruz right beside the sea is a water park with numerous pools and a saltwater lake and surrounded by subtropical gardens.  Other places worth to visit is the sandy beach Playa Jardin, the Botanical Gardens and Park Taoro.
